system. This system is composed of the various hormone-secreting glands of the body.
Diabetes is a common endocrine disorder that occurs when there are disturbances in
the hormone secretion or action of insulin. Insuline is a very impoprtant hormone
secreted by the pancreas that regulates sugar metabolism.
Other important endocrine glands include the hypothalamus,
pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands as well as the ovaries and testes.
In addition, our practice specializes in treating
osteoporosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome and other menstrual disorders, menopause
and any rare hormone imbalance.
Obesity and weight management are included at this practice
using programs crafted for every patient's unique situation.
